Eyebrow threading is an ancient technique that is gaining new respect. It is a true art that has been passed down through the generations. It is not something you can easily do by yourself.  If you have never seen it done before it may look rather interesting, threading is one of those things you have to see to believe.

Our beauticians use a thin cotton thread, one end of the thread is anchored in the mouth and the other end is twisted around multiple times. The thread is then pulled along the unwanted hair in a twisting motion that lifts hair right out of the follicle.  Unlike tweezing, where a single hair is pulled out one at a time, threading can easily remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line. It is a very precise and controlled technique that targets individual hairs including the shortest ones.

This ancient technique is not just about reshaping eyebrows, it’s about removing any to all unwanted facial hairs.  The hairs are removed close to the root, so it will most likely grow back thinner over time. It take less than fifteen minutes and is gentle on the skin. Unlike other hair removal methods, threading is great for all skin types including those with sensitive skin.

Threading is an extremely sanitary process.  Only the thread touches the skin and is thrown away right after use.  It is safe and can last up to 3 weeks.
